about
Building Ethical AI · 7 Years Full-Stack · Berlin
Background
In 2018, I co-founded Poker Scientist with a mission to democratize game theory for poker players. Seven years later, the platform serves 500+ users and taught me more about building production software than any CS degree could.
The real "aha moment" came when I realized that great engineering isn't about the latest framework—it's about solving hard problems for real people. That insight led me from frontend dashboards to Nash equilibrium solvers, and eventually to AI systems that augment human decision-making.
Today, I'm building what I call the "Ethical AI Stack"—four interconnected projects that explore how AI can work with humans, not replace them. It's experimental, it's rigorous, and it reflects everything I've learned about shipping products that matter.
Approach
I'm an autodidact with Asperger's. Where others see complexity, I see patterns. Where others context-switch, I deep-dive for days. This isn't a limitation—it's how I built a Nash equilibrium solver and shipped 4 AI research projects in parallel.
What drives me: building tools that make complex decisions easier. I'm happiest when surrounded by hard problems, clear ownership, and teammates who value depth over speed.
I'm looking for a Berlin team that's building intelligent products—AI-powered developer tools, decision-support systems, or anything that bridges human judgment with machine capability.
