This privacy policy explains the nature, scope, and purpose of the processing of personal data (hereinafter “data”) in connection with the use of this website (hereinafter “online offering”).

3. Provision of the website and creation of log files

When this website is accessed, the technical infrastructure of our hosting provider automatically processes the following data:

  • truncated IP address of the requesting device
  • date and time of access
  • requested URL and HTTP status code
  • volume of data transferred
  • referrer URL (previously visited page)
  • browser type and version, operating system

The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR. Our legitimate interest follows from the need for a stable, secure, and technically sound delivery of the website. This data is not merged with other data sources and is deleted or anonymized after a short period.

4. Hosting (Vercel Inc.)

This website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Avenue #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA. Vercel processes access data on our behalf (see section 3) in order to deliver the website. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Vercel.

Data is transferred to the USA. The level of protection is ensured by Vercel’s certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and by the conclusion of the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. 5. Reach measurement (Vercel Web Analytics)

We use Vercel Web Analytics to measure the reach of this website. Vercel Analytics does not set cookies and does not store identifiers on your device. Only aggregated page views, referrer domains, device type, approximate location at country level, and anonymized session identifiers are recorded. Transmission takes place via thesendBeacon API. Re-identification of individual persons is not possible.

The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the anonymous statistical evaluation of reach in order to improve content and offering. As no information is stored on or read from your device, no consent pursuant to Section 25 (1) of the German TDDDG (Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act) is required.

6. Contact by e-mail

When you contact us by e-mail, the data you provide (e-mail address, name, content of the message) is processed for the purpose of handling your request. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR (initiation/performance of a contract) or Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in effective response). Your data will be deleted as soon as the purpose of processing no longer applies and no statutory retention periods stand in the way.

7. External links

This website contains occasional links to external sites (for example, the hosting provider’s privacy policy). These links are plain HTML references; no third-party scripts or embeds are loaded, and no data is transmitted to the respective provider before you actively click a link. When you access the target page, the privacy provisions of the respective provider apply.

8. Cookies

This website does not use cookies for tracking or marketing purposes and does not store identifiers in the local storage of your device. No cookie consent banner is displayed, as no accesses to your device requiring consent under Section 25 (1) of the German TDDDG take place.

9. Validity and amendment of this privacy policy

This privacy policy is currently valid, last updated in July 2026. As the website evolves or legal requirements change, it may become necessary to amend this privacy policy. The current version can be accessed on this page at any time.
